Zarina Adambussinova
an independent researcher and anthropologist, and the founder of the MONO blog-platform and digital museum. She has a PhD in Central Asian Studies from Humboldt University of Berlin, where her dissertation explored the phenomenon of dissonance in heritage, which she identified in the City Museum of Kokshetau, Kazakhstan. From 2021 to 2024, Zarina was a postdoctoral fellow of the Volkswagen Foundation in the Department of Anthropology, Technology and International Development at the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) in Kyrgyzstan. During this time, she led her postdoctoral research project titled “Dealing with Uncertainty: Socio-Economic Survival Strategies of Local Population in former mono-industrial towns in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan”. She is also an associate member of the Center for Anthropological Research on Museums and Heritage (CARMAH) Humboldt University of Berlin.

Her current research examines collegial networks of scientists in global and national science systems, as well as power relations within academia. Stas Dalidchik
an urbanist (MA in Urban Studies, The University of Manchester), researcher at SILK (AUCA) and project manager at UDP Lab. From 2017 to 2023, he led professional development education programs in territorial development and taught at the V.L. Glazychev Department of Territorial Development. He has co-organized several international internships for students in Canada, Brazil, Germany, and Spain. Stas is the co-author of studies on "International Practices in Managing Large Urban Development Projects" and "Assessment of the Current State and Development Prospects of Moscow Districts Using the Example of Yaroslavsky and Troparevo-Nikulino."
